Created in France during the last decade of the 19th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a central column adorned with guilloches, waterleaves and other foliage motifs carved in low relief, accented with traces of gilding. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance, these French 1890s candlesticks, resting on scrolling feet, will make for an exquisite decorative addition to any home, perhaps anchoring an enfilade or credenza.
