A pair of French hexagonal lanterns in copper, each tapering pavilion top rising to a ring for suspension above six glazed panels that throw the light generously in every direction, with a turned finial below. The warm copper has taken on a soft natural patina that reads beautifully against stone, plaster, or greenery. Lanterns of this form are as much at home outdoors, flanking an entrance or hanging in a loggia, as they are over a kitchen island or in a hallway. Sold as a pair. Both are sound, with wear consistent with age and use.
